在英超第3轮，曼联0-3利物浦的比赛中，卡塞米罗上半场2次失误导致丢球，最终他半场被换下。卡塞米罗仍有可能在未来几周离开曼联加盟加拉塔萨雷。

在过去的这个夏窗，卡塞米罗和转会至沙特俱乐部联系在一起，虽然和曼联进行了谈判，但是并未达成。
