9月28日讯 在中超联赛第27轮中，上海申花客场挑战青岛海牛。由于伤情影响，朱辰杰本场继续缺席，他也将错过申花队在9月份的全部比赛。

9月10日国足与沙特的世预赛18强赛里，朱辰杰遭遇大腿肌肉的伤情，加之连续作战的过度疲劳，回到上海后他又出现连续高烧。接二连三的伤病情况，让朱辰杰一直高挂免战牌，无法参加申花队的训练和比赛。

在朱辰杰受伤休战期间，申花队进行了与浙江队和与青岛海牛的中超联赛、与浦项制铁的亚冠精英联赛小组赛、与上海海港的足协杯半决赛。作为球队的后防核心，朱辰杰的缺战让申花队受到了不小的影响，主帅斯卢茨基也在此前的新闻发布会上为弟子鸣不平。
