据悉，与日本队的比赛，国足以防守为主，伊万科维奇需要奔跑能力和防守能力强的中前场队员，而谢鹏飞是偏技术性的队员，因此伊万科维奇最终忍痛割爱。而且本期集训的前两堂训练课，谢鹏飞一度因伤无法参加球队的合练。
