“我们并不是总在批评球员，但是我看到，现在的球员更乐意躲在主教练身后，让主教练来承担责任。我认为他们当中有一些人可以站出来说一句：‘我知道我现在状态不好，我踢得不够好。’但我们并没有听到太多类似的话，其实我觉得曼联现在拥有非常多很有天赋的球员。”

对于即将在赛季中途接受球队的阿莫林，莫耶斯表示：“他可能需要一段时间才能将自己的要求融入球队，但我认为曼联会好起来的，如果坚持走这条路的话。”
